Optik Yuda — Odoo Implementation to Integrate Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Finance Across Branches

Company Overview

Optik Yuda is an eyewear retail business with branches in Bandung, Garut, and Tasikmalaya. The company provides eye examination services and supports customers with eyeglass or lens replacement. Optik Yuda serves customers using both general payment methods and BPJS schemes, requiring operational processes that are consistent and traceable across multiple locations.


Situation (Before Implementation)

Before implementing Odoo, Optik Yuda faced operational inefficiencies caused by disconnected workflows. Sales and purchasing activities were carried out without well-recorded transaction history, making it difficult to track past activity and ensure consistency. There was no integration between raw material purchasing and stock movement, limiting visibility over inventory changes and making stock control less reliable. Financial administration was also handled separately, which increased manual work and reduced the ability to compile accurate financial records efficiently.


Challenges

Optik Yuda needed to address three core issues:

  1. Sales and purchasing were done without properly recorded transaction history.
  2. No integration existed between raw material purchasing and inventory movement.
  3. Financial administration was still managed separately.


Odoo Solution Implemented

To solve these challenges, Optik Yuda implemented Odoo to unify the main operational flows:

  1. Sales & Purchase for Structured Transactions. Odoo Sales and Purchase modules were implemented to manage sales and procurement transactions with clear documentation and traceable histories.
  2. Inventory Automation via Inventory Module. Stock handling was automated through the Inventory module, enabling better tracking of product movement and supporting more reliable stock control.
  3. Accounting for End-to-End Financial Recording. The Accounting module was used to record all financial transactions in one place, supporting more consistent and structured financial administration.


Result

By implementing Odoo, Optik Yuda transformed previously separate processes into an integrated operational system. Sales and purchasing transactions became properly documented with reliable history, stock movement became easier to control through automated inventory management, and financial records became more centralized through accounting integration. As a result, Optik Yuda improved operational consistency across branches and strengthened the foundation for more accurate reporting and day-to-day control.
