Etapasbar — Odoo Implementation to Connect Online–Offline Sales, Marketplace Operations, and HR Digitalization
Company Overview
PT Etapasbar Ecomm Indonesia is an e-commerce startup from Pasar Baru, Bandung, focused on helping traditional merchants digitalize their business. Etapasbar enables merchants to sell through a web platform, Android application, and WhatsApp services—acting as an online storefront that also supports offline transactions. To scale operations and maintain consistency across multiple channels, Etapasbar required a system that could connect sales, marketplace operations, and internal administration.
Situation (Before Implementation)
Before implementing Odoo, Etapasbar’s online and offline sales processes were not yet integrated, creating gaps in transaction visibility and coordination. The marketplace and eCommerce website were also not connected to a centralized ERP backend, which limited operational control and made it harder to manage data consistently across channels. Internally, employee membership management and attendance tracking were still handled manually, increasing administrative workload and reducing process consistency.
Challenges
Etapasbar needed to address three core issues:
- Online and offline sales processes were not integrated.
- The marketplace and eCommerce website were not connected to an ERP backend.
- Employee membership management and attendance were still manual.
Odoo Solution Implemented
To unify operations and build a scalable foundation, Odoo was implemented with integrated modules and channel connectivity:
- POS Integration with eCommerce and Marketplace (Mobikul & Seller Dashboard). POS operations were integrated with eCommerce and marketplace channels using Mobikul and Seller Dashboard, enabling better alignment between online and offline transaction flows.
- HR Process Automation (Attendance, Leave, Recruitment). HR processes were automated—from attendance and leave management to recruitment—reducing manual work and strengthening HR data consistency.
- Maintenance and Members Modules for Operations and Community. Maintenance and Members modules were implemented to support operational needs and community-related processes, helping Etapasbar manage internal operations and community engagement in a more structured way.
Result
With Odoo, Etapasbar connected previously separated online and offline sales flows, improved integration between marketplace/eCommerce channels and ERP operations, and digitalized HR administration. As a result, transaction coordination became more consistent, internal administration became more efficient, and the company built a stronger system foundation to support merchant digitalization and operational growth.
